I somehow managed to win an eBay auction from my favorite Goodwill store and scored a desktop for a whopping $25. I had an old 120GB SSD sitting around, so I popped it in, installed Linux Mint, and—voilà!—a perfectly usable computer.
It’s amazing what you can find on the used market. Give me a $25 computer, an old SSD, and a little Linux magic, and suddenly I’m running a computer instead of a very expensive paperweight.
