Christmas with the Keys

We had a great Christmas with the Keys. Austin, Diane, and Alan came in from Richmond, Va. and Doug traveled from Atlanta, Ga.

Wendy and I took Austin to Delallo’s Italian Grocery Store in Jeannette, Pa. A great place to get Christmas yumminess.

Right after returning from the airport with Doug, we had a nice (not so quiet) dinner at the House of 1000 beers in New Kensington, Pa.

The Christmas Eve service was at The United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington at 7:30 p.m.

Christmas Eve is the day before Christmas Day. The festival commemorating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. Christmas Day is observed around the world. Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day. Together, both days are considered one of the most culturally significant celebrations in Christendom and Western society.

After Christmas with the Keys, we went to see the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One.

Review

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
